Research Overview
Professor Quesnel's education scholarship focuses on clinical education, the experiences of internationally educated physiotherapists (IEPTs) in Canada, and mentorship for professional development in physical therapy. She explores clinical education from multiple perspectives to enhance educational experiences. Martine is particularly interested in understanding how IEPTs successfully achieve licensure, integrate into practice and contribute to the Canadian health care system. Her work also examines mentorship to support the growth, integration and lifelong development of IEPTs, students, and practicing physiotherapists.
