Get Involved
There are several ways for alumni and friends to get involved with the Department of Physical Therapy!
Subscribe to our distribution list to receive updates and emails about upcoming volunteer opportunities within the MScPT program — including options to support clinical education and other departmental initiatives. Please note that completing this form is not a confirmation or commitment to volunteer; it simply allows us to share relevant opportunities with you as they arise.
See some of our current opportunities below.
Clinical Partner
The Department of Physical Therapy has a vibrant clinical education program with many opportunities for students to engage with the clinical community. The department welcomes interested clinical instructors to learn more about clinical opportunities.
Student Research Project Supervisor
Scholarly practice is integrated throughout the MScPT curriculum. Students in their second year learn to apply this knowledge and develop skills that will inform the generation, translation and implementation of research evidence in the form of research and program evaluation. The department welcomes clinicians or researchers who are interested in being project supervisors to contact us to learn more about this important role.
Student Mentor
Through nurturing relationships between mentors and mentees, students are inspired, supported, and engaged with their community.
As a mentor, you will assist in the professional growth and development of a future physical therapist, develop your leadership skills and give back to your community.
Community-Based/Status Only and Adjunct Faculty
The academic goals of the MScPT program cannot be met without the participation of talented individuals from many institutions and agencies outside of the university.
These appointees augment the efforts and expertise of the full-time departmental faculty.
