Research Overview
Professor Mori's educational scholarship includes investigating clinical education student assessment and clinical education models of supervision. She is invested in developing the most effective and meaningful method to assess students in clinical practice across their entry to practice MScPT degree.

The Canadian Physiotherapy Assessment of Clinical Performance (ACP)
This measure is used to assess Canadian students’ performance in clinical placements. Looking at longitudinal ACP data from university programs across Canada, we estimated the internal consistency, evaluated the factorial validity, established performance growth trajectories and applied a construct validation process.
Assessment of Clinical Performance (ACP) 3.0
We are working on developing the ACP 3.0 that is based on physiotherapy performance expectations and not tethered to the Competency Profile. We anticipate the revised ACP 3.0 will be a more stable measure to assess student performance in clinical education and will be more resilient to changes in the future.
Exploring physiotherapy students’ perspectives on part-time studies
Attending a full-time MScPT degree program may not be attainable for all. We are initiating a qualitative study to explore physiotherapy students’ perspectives regarding a part-time Master of Science physiotherapy degree.
