Presentation Title:
The development of a theory-informed health promotion intervention for older adults with subjective cognitive decline
Short Bio:
Dr. Maya Arieli holds a Bachelor's and Master's of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a PhD from the University of Haifa, Israel. Her research themes include understanding hospitalization processes and outcomes of patients treated in acute-care and rehabilitation facilities, developing health-promotion interventions, and understanding the role of technology in promoting health and well-being. Dr. Arieli's research combines quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. As an occupational therapist, she has worked in multiple inpatient and outpatient settings serving diverse adult and older adult populations facing acute and chronic health conditions.
