Topic: “Developing and evaluating tele-rehab & hybrid models to optimize health-related fitness for people living with cardiorespiratory conditions”

Presenter: Lisa Wickerson, PT, PhD

Lisa Wickerson is a physiotherapist and clinician-investigator within the Ajmera Transplant Centre at the University Health Network and an Assistant Professor (status) in the Department of Physical Therapy, University of Toronto. She completed a BScPT at the University of Toronto followed by an MSc and PhD in Rehabilitation Science. She undertook a post-doctoral fellowship at UHN and Women’s College Hospital Institute for Health Systems Solutions and Virtual Care. Her current research on tele-pulmonary rehabilitation and remote patient monitoring is funded by the Lung Health Foundation, UHN’s Transplant Innovation Fund, AHSC AFP Innovation Fund, Canadian Donation and Transplant Research Program and Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
