Short Bio:

Dr. Armaghan Dabbagh is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. Her academic journey commenced with BSc (2014) and MSc (2017) degrees in Physiotherapy in Iran, followed by dedicated research endeavors in Canadian universities. She successfully completed her MSc in Rehabilitation Science at McMaster University in 2019 and earned a PhD in Health and Rehabilitation Science from Western University in 2023, concurrently securing her Canadian Physiotherapy license.

Dr. Dabbagh's research focus lies in musculoskeletal disorders, particularly Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Her work spans diverse methodologies, including systematic reviews, clinical trials, and the development of diagnostic tools. With a background as a physiotherapist, Dr. Dabbagh brings a unique perspective to her research, ensuring its practical relevance in healthcare settings. Her current Post-Doctoral Fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Heather Colquhoun, aligns with her aspiration to enhance the implementation of evidence-based practices and contribute to the advancement of knowledge translation in rehabilitation sciences.
