The Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities (SCHC) is hiring a full-time Physiotherapist — Community Health Team. This is a joint academic-clinical role developed through our growing partnership with SCHC, and the successful candidate will work in close collaboration with the Department of Physical Therapy.
This position is eligible for a University of Toronto status appointment and offers the opportunity to:
Deliver physiotherapy care to a diverse, underserved community in Scarborough
Build out SCHC’s teaching practice and clinical education model
Supervise and mentor MScPT students, contributing directly to training the next generation of physiotherapists
Design and lead innovative pilot programs to expand community access to physiotherapy
Work within a dynamic interprofessional primary care team
