Zach Bergeron Wins Prestigious Gordon Cressy Leadership Award!

Zach Bergeron, Gordon Cressy and Jaimie Coleman at the Gordon Cressy AwardsZach Bergeron, a second-year MScPT student has been awarded a Gordon Cressy Leadership Award! This award recognizes students who have made exceptional extra-curricular contributions at the University, Faculty, Department, and/or College level. Zach received his award on April 22, 2019.  This was the 25th anniversary of the Gordon Cressy Leadership awards. Mr. Cressy was present during the ceremony and made an inspiring speech on the topics of leadership and mental health. 

Zach’s achievements include being the president of the National Physiotherapy Student Assembly branch of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, being a member of the Central Toronto District – Ontario Physiotherapy Association, and being a Professional Development Director on the University of Toronto Physical Therapy student council. When he’s not advocating for physical therapy and physical therapy students on committees and councils, you can find Zach helping out at Physical Therapy admission events, fundraisers, and social events.
