Stephanie Nixon to receive 2015 Faculty of Medicine Graduate Teaching Award

Prof. Stephanie Nixon is receiving a 2015 Faculty of Medicine Graduate Teaching Award for Early Career Excellence in Graduate Teaching and Mentorship.  Prof. Nixon was nominated by graduate students and colleagues for this award, which is one of six annual graduate faculty teaching awards which honour and celebrate outstanding contributions to graduate education.  In her nomination, Prof. Nixon was described as “a poignant example of how a professor can exemplify passionate and effective teaching, mentorship, and leadership for graduate students”.

The Department congratulates Prof. Nixon on her award and thanks her for her dedication to the education and success of our students.  Dr. Nixon will receive her award at the Faculty of Medicine’s annual Education Achievement Ceremony in May.
