Rehab Rounds: Dr. Tania Janaudis Ferreira

Dr. Tania Janaudis Ferreira, PhD, Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto and Scientist at St. John’s Rehab Program of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and West Park Healthcare Centre in Toronto, presents “Research in Rehabilitation for Solid Organ Transplantation: Where are we now and where should we go from here” on Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 12-1 pm. This event takes place at the room 150 of the Rehabilitation Sciences Building, 500 University Avenue.

Dr. Janaudis-Ferreira’s research is in the field of rehabilitation for two patient populations: solid organ transplant recipients and individuals with chronic lung disease.  Her research is aimed at improving functional abilities of these individuals to maximize their quality of life, independence and participation in daily activities.
