MScPT Students Get to Know Their Faculty

The Department of Physical Therapy hosts a Meet the Faculty Wine and Cheese.

On Monday, October 3, first and second year MScPT students had the opportunity to mingle with faculty over wine and cheese. The event, which took place in Alumni Café in the Rehabilitation Sciences Building, gathered over 70 students and faculty.

After enjoying refreshments and a student-run photo booth, everyone headed to the nearby lecture hall for an evening of games, including “Two Truths and a Lie” faculty trivia. Students also got to identify faculty baby photos in a game of “Guess Who”. Afterwards, a team-building activity provided faculty and students the opportunity to problem solve as a group. All proceeds from the event will support Student Council.

“Our Meet the Faculty Wine and Cheese was a casual and fun way for students to get to know their faculty, while building class spirit” says Professor Dina Brooks, head of the Advancement and Community Engagement Committee. “As mentors, we value opportunities to learn more about our students, and this event was a great way to welcome our incoming class.”
