CPIN Distinguished Lecture Series – Professor Lara Boyd

Professor Lara Boyd from the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research and UBC Hospital presents “Sensorimotor Physiology and Function After Stroke” on Friday, May 03, 2013 from 1-2 pm. This event takes place at the room 1105 of the Sanford Fleming Building, 10 King’s College Road. Hosted by Dr. Karl Zabjek, Department of Physical Therapy, Graduate Department of Rehabilitation Science.

Professor Lara Boyd, PT, PhD, Associate Professor, Canada Research Chair, Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research Career Investigator & Neuroscientist Brain Research Centre, UBC Hospital, University of British Columbia

In this talk Dr. Boyd will present recent neurophysiological and neuroimaging data demonstrating neuroplastic change in function and structure following stroke.
