CAP Reading Registration 2020 In Person

Thank you for your interest in supporting our admissions process!

The Department of Physical Therapy is currently seeking clinician volunteers to help us mark our Computer Administered Profile (CAP) admissions test. Please use the registration form below if you are a physiotherapist and would like to sign up to read CAP tests. Marking guidelines will be provided and refreshments will be served. Sessions take place at 500 University Avenue and at Sunnybrook Health Sciences (space is limited at this location; preference is given to clinicians working at Sunnybrook).  Additional details (including room numbers) will be sent to you upon registration.

What is the CAP?

Between 300 and 350 of our top applicants will be invited to write the CAP, a two-hour exam which represents the non-academic portion of our admission process. The exam is designed to assess personal characteristics/attributes, life experiences, knowledge of the profession and critical thinking/problem solving skills. The scores of the CAP exam are combined with applicants’ GPA to determine who will be offered admission to the program. The Department highly values the input of clinicians when grading these exams.

When and where are the marking sessions?

Session 1: Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 500 University Avenue, Toronto (various time slots available)
Session 2: Monday, May 4, 2020 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre – 2075 Bayview Avenue, Toronto (various time slots available)

How long does it take?

Based on past years, you can anticipate spending up to an hour marking.

Can I sign up by email?
