Jaimie has been involved in various aspects of teaching within the Department of Physical Therapy since 2008. She has facilitated small groups and labs for Unit 2, has been a clinical advisor for 3 research projects and has been a clinical instructor for over 25 students. She draws on this experience as the Interim Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education. She completed a Bachelor of Physical Education and Health and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy both at the University of Toronto. She is currently pursuing a Master of Health Management at McMaster University.
Jaimie gained her experience as a clinical instructor as a physiotherapist at St. Michael’s Hospital in the areas of vascular surgery, cardiology and cardiac intensive care unit. She is an APTA credentialed clinical instructor and has further improved her knowledge of clinical education by completing the Stepping Stones Teacher Certification Program at the Centre for Faculty Development.
