“Critical perspectives on health innovation for aging in the community”Presenter: Jay Shaw, PT, PhD
Jay Shaw is a physical therapist and health systems researcher who studies health innovation using methods and theories from the social sciences. Jay is a Scientist at the Women’s College Hospital Institute for Health System Solutions and Virtual care, and is Research Director of Artificial Intelligence, Ethics and Health at the University of Toronto Joint Centre for Bioethics. Jay is an Academic Fellow at the Centre for Critical Qualitative Health Research, and worked as a physical therapist in community-based rehabilitation prior to completing his PhD.
