Balance Confidence and Implications for Physical Activity Participation in Youth with Cerebral Palsy

 

Short Bio:

Megan Towns is a PhD candidate at the Rehabilitation Sciences Institute at the University of Toronto and Bloorview Research Institute and is supervised by Dr. Virginia Wright. Megan is also a registered physiotherapist at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, where she works in the Specialized Orthopedics and Developmental Rehabilitation Program. Her dissertation focuses around the development and psychometric evaluation of a measure of balance confidence for youth with cerebral palsy (the Feelings About Balance-Cerebral Palsy) and the relationship between balance confidence and physical activity participation of youth with CP.
