In this presentation, I will discuss some of the important lessons that the global North can learn from Africa and how we may collectively re-imagine the way in which we can provide rehabilitative care. I will summarise some of the similarities and differences between South Africa and Canada that I have observed in my four months as a Visiting Professor at the University of Toronto.
