“A tale of two measures: Assessment of oral-nasal balance disorders”
Presenter: Gillian de Boer, MA MSc, PhD candidate in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology

Gillian de Boer ‘s research investigates the control and assessment of oral-nasal balance in speech. She uses both nasometry and acoustic analyses to develop predictive algorithms for the diagnosis of oral-nasal balance disorders such as hypernasality.
