Shane provides front line service for the department. He supports faculty with unit organization matters, and helps facilitate our continuing education program. Shane also assists with the admissions process for the two year entry-to-practice MScPT program.

Jane works with various stakeholders, including prospective students, current students, faculty and suppliers. Jane responds to front line inquiries from applicants, and coordinates the clinical internships for current students at sites throughout our catchment area.  She also assists the Business Manager with processing invoices and payroll.

Amanda is responsible for the human resources and finances of the department.  She coordinates the budgets for the department, faculty grants and IEPT program.  In addition to hiring/supervising staff and processing salary payments, Amanda is also the contact for all departmental employees, past and present.  Additionally, she is responsible for office management and the building operations of the department.

Cindy manages the recruitment, admission and registration processes for both the two year entry-to-practice MScPT program and the one year MScPT Advanced Standing Option. Cindy acts as the registrar for all MScPT students, in collaboration with the School of Graduate Studies.  She also manages and administers the various awards and bursaries distributed by the PT Department to current students.

Ningsha Zhong (PhD, MPhil) has been working in the department for over 12 years. Her duties encompass curriculum and program management, review and accreditation for the Master’s Program, and management of clinical education database and the physical therapy laboratory. She also administers teaching evaluations and resources for group activities for current PT students, and offers credentialing services for alumni.
