OIEPB Program Celebrates Graduation with Class of 2014
On April 2 2014, the Ontario Internationally Educated Physical Therapy Bridging (OIEPB) Program Class of 2014 celebrated their graduation with an awards ceremony and reception held at The Faculty Club. Family, friends, faculty and honoured guests were all in attendance to recognize the hard work of these 23 internationally educated physiotherapists in successfully completing the Comprehensive program. Sharon Switzer McIntyre, OIEPB Program Director, Edith Hillan, Vice-Provost, Faculty and Academic Life and Katherine Berg, PT Faculty Chair all gave wonderful speeches. Following the speeches, certificates and awards were presented to the deserving graduates. As a surprise, they each took a moment to express their thanks and appreciation to the faculty and staff of the department. They shared how the program has personally impacted and made a difference in their lives and by the end there wasn’t a dry eye in the ballroom. We wish everyone much success and congratulations to the graduating Class of 2014!
