The goal of the comprehensive Ontario Internationally Educated Physical Therapy Bridging (OIEPB) Program is to help Internationally Educated Physical Therapists (IEPTs) gain registration to practice physical therapy in Ontario. The OIEPB Comprehensive Bridging Program is intended for experienced physical therapists who are currently residing in Ontario. Watch the videos below to learn more about the OIEPB Program.
In addition to the OIEPB Comprehensive Bridging Program we also offer IEPTs who are preparing for their PCE examinations with the opportunity to participate in Exam Skills Preparation workshops, which include MCQ and OSCE exam skills preparation.
Refresher courses offer Canadian- or internationally-trained physical therapists the opportunity to refresh their physical therapy knowledge in different practice settings via a mix of online learning opportunities and on-site participation.
Physical Therapy and the Canadian Health Care System is an online course offered to IEPTs who meet the minimum requirements to provide them with an understanding of the Canadian health care system, culture and context for practice of physical therapy in Canada. This course meets the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulator’s requirement for “Knowledge of the Practice of Physiotherapy within the Canadian Healthcare System”.
